QRcode Photo Label Maker (QRPhotos) is an Apple iDevice app that produces and stores images in a users Dropbox account that are designed for use on Avery (8160) or equivalent Address Labels. These labels are 1"x2 5/8" in size and are available from various vendors and Office Supply stores.

Only iDevices with cameras can create labels and use all the features of this app!

The app produces single labels for use in Word Document Label templates as well as sheets of labels ready for printing directly to your printer. Each sheet contains up to 30 labels.

Take photos directly from the app or use photos from your camera roll.

The labels produced by this app contain a QRcode, short text description of less than 38 characters, and a detailed text description up to 250 characters.

The labels can be used as packing labels to be affixed to boxes in which you have packed contents for storage, or you can use the app to create QRcodes for photos of anything.

Make labels to affix to the back of your Business Card showing details of your business with a QRcode that when scanned, brings up a photo of your place of business.

Create coupon codes for distribution on any media. The coupon value would not be disclosed until the QRcode is scanned.

Take photos of your important documents and put the QRcoded labels on sheets of paper for filing. Then you can scan the codes later on to view the document. The label could describe the contents of the document textually while the QRcode links you directly to the photo of the document stored in your Dropbox account.

These are just a few of the possible uses.

The QRcode when scanned, pulls up an image taken with your camera or chosen from your camera roll when using the app to create the label. The text descriptions are optional. This app does NOT contain a QRCode scanner, but there are many free QRCode readers available in the App Store.

This app requires that you have a Dropbox account which you can login via the app. Authentication to your Dropbox account is accomplished within the QRPhotos app. Dropbox accounts are FREE and available from http://Dropbox.com.

Creating labels is easy, quick, and fun. After authenticating to your Dropbox account once, you will not need to do so again unless you decide to unlink your Dropbox account.

Simply fill in the optional short text description you want included on the bottom of your photo, take a new photo with your camera or select one from your camera roll and the app will upload your photo to a folder named QRPhotos in your Dropbox account.

You will then be directed to a screen where you can enter a longer text description describing the photo. Use the microphone icon on your iPhone keypad to dictate the text quickly and easily. When you are satisfied with the text, simply tap the Save to Dropbox button and the Photo Label will be assembled and uploaded to the QRPhotos folder of your Dropbox account.

After you have created all of your labels, simply click on the button to Make Label Sheets. The app will assemble up to 30 labels per sheet and create sheets of labels ready for printing on Avery 8160 or equivalent labels.

Dropbox processing takes place in the background, so you must keep the app open until all of the content has been synced to your Dropbox account.

Scanning the QRcode on your printed label with a QRcode reader opens the photo you provided. The photo contains the short description appended to the bottom of the photo you provided.

This app is a must have app for people who are getting ready to move. Creating packing labels for moving is quick and effortless. Just print them out and affix them to your boxes as you tape them shut.

QRcoded Photo labels can also be used to identify storage containers of any kind even if you are not moving. So what are you waiting for? Download this app and get started creating your own personal photo QRcoded labels.
